Mahatmya of that chapter is read 1st, bcoz then we will read the geeta chapter with more respect and curiosity which are necessary to learn anything from anyone.

: When we read Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta, Should Mahatamya of the chapter be read first or one should read chapter before Mahatamya. Should Mahatmaya follow the reading of the chapter or should it precede the reading of the chapter when we read Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta?
