grew up listening to the gophers on radio.... billy bye, paul giel,the macnamara brothers, bobby cox and dick larson, sandy stephens,duane blaska just to name a few....radio spotcasters halsey hall and later ray christianson calling the games.....sunday morning reading the peach section in sports pages....back then they were my heroes...i love todays football....but it can't capture the magic of listening to ray's play by play magic
