My cat seems to have an extreme interest in the bird. She used to be a barn cat and loves stalking things. We do let her in the bird's room when we are in there, but Taco is in the cage. Before I bought Taco (he was 10 months old and I bought him from a friend), she showed me how he chased their old cat around. I don't think I'd be so worried if my cat didn't have a good set of claws.
