I've been reading the comments for the last couple of months in anticipation of my first GC conure. Well, we've gone from reasonably sensible senior citizens to dithering over a little bag of feathers! Sunshine is a four-month male who came to us with a fantastic upbringing. He rides my shoulder like a piece of moving jewelry so consequently isn't afraid of the vaccuum cleaner, hair dryer, riding on our shoulder in the garage, around the model trains or outside. He's nuts about water so ends up taking a bath after listening to the clothes or dish washers. I use the hair dryer on low to dry his feathers and he loves the warm air. He also instigates wresting matches where he wiggles, squeals and nips when I tickle him. I had no idea, even after reading other messages, that a little green package could have so much personality. We love our Sunshine!
