: We have a bed-time routine that goes something like this: the birds go into our cages around 7 or 7:30 and we go to another part of the house to have dinner and watch TV. A couple of hours later, I sing them a good-night song, turn out the lights in the room where the cages are, and shut the door. Our other bird is usually more than ready for sleep, but Scooter, the GCC, often acts like an overtired toddler and yells at me while I'm closing the door and saying good night. However, all is silent within minutes and he's sound asleep.
I'm thinking maybe Zoey would sleep better if he had a room of his own at night ?
He wakes up everytime I come into the living room. Maybe a night cage in the spare room ? I sing to Zoey too. Kind of funny when you think about it !!
