Could be a few things........
Birds have nothing else to go on but instinct, maybe he picked up on your stress more than you realized, they now somethings wrong, they just don't know what.
Also were there any changes in you, clothes, jewelry, makeup, hairstyle.
Something new in your place, furniture, etc.
Good news is he isn't biting you, just something is throwing him off, just have to find what it is.
