Basically I think the answer is no, not if you feed a variety of fruits and veggies. You'll also want some grains, seeds, or pellets in the diet. The nice thing about pellets is that they are as close to nutiritionally complete as we know how to be. If the bird is eating ONLY veggies, and especially if only one or two, you do need to worry about deficiencies. IDeally you'd have some orange/red veggies or fruit in there. If hw is eating the veggies in ADDITION to pellets, I can't imagine it being too much unless he starts to get fat.
One thing eating a lot of veggies can do is cause a lot of urine production. Since disease can also cause polyuria, you'd want regular checkups to make sure what you are seeing is normal. And it never hurts to consult with your vet about diet either.
