Strange surroundings, strange environment, strange people, the need time.
It's like you standing on the edge of a cliff with a stranger saying don't worry, I'll hold you. Your comfortable in your place, to them it's GIGANTIC.
Sit near their cage, read to them, talk to them, open their cage and let them come to you, don't force them and things will come allot faster than if you do.
