: Take it slow with a lot of patience......they are in a strange place with a strange person and are exhibiting fear. GC'S are known for being "nippy" anyway, so there will still be a few "bites" here and there....but hopefully not the blood drawing type!! I know it's hard, but try not to react to the bites. Eventually you will gain some trust and be able to direct their attention with a treat or toy. Good luck!!
