Our happy family includes 2 cats and a German Shepherd mix. Our GCCs always want to nip the doggie's nose, but she is incredibly patient. She loves to sniff at their tails as long as those beaks are pointed the other direction. We've had Naboo startle himself and flutter off our shoulder right at the dogs face and she's an angel, just sorta raises an eyebrow and stands there.
The kitties... Well the birds are a bit nervous around them. It hasn't caused noticeable emotional issues other than getting a little shifty when they see the cats. The cats on the other hand are completely untrustworthy so we're very very very careful about mixing the birdies and kitties.
All in all we've got a pretty rambunctious household and the GCCs play, chirp, talk, scream, and shred their toys like normal.. oblivious to the daily romping, barking and meowing. Its only unexpected sudden noises and movements that frighten them.
