We have our birds in a separate bedroom (at our house...here in Milwaukee, WI) and we got a small space heater to keep their room nice and warm. Most mornings when I go in there its so toasty, I'd like to lay down on the floor and go back to sleep. Its a small oil filled space heater--I think it cost us $20. And keeps the 10x9 room about 75-80 degrees at night.
We also have a hut, like those described in some of the other posts, but only one of our birds sleeps in that. The others seem pretty content to just be covered with sheets at night.
