It is wonderful of the relationship you have with him, If you want him to live a long time DON'T nap with him and check his cage and make sure he will not get out at night and come to you while your sleeping. You can snuggle with him in bed watching tv or something, but no sleeping. Sorry, may not be what you wanted to hear.
thank you. i sleep on my back in the afternoon thats the only time he sleeps with me. i have tried toys he has nothing to do with them he looks at me like i'm stupied. i'm the only one he will diddle on the neck, so i guess i'm his mate.he is on my shoulder all day he eats out of my mouthand wont take it out of my hand just my mouth.we are very close he baths in my hands under the faucet occasionaly in the dogs water dish and the dogs freak out if i take to long he is so cool he is the first bird i ever had i never knew they liked so much attention and likes to be petted.
