You have left me with more questions than answers. Ok.
1: Is there anything new in the cage/ change of cage location, different lighting, new toy, ANYTHING different since the biting started, except for your husband as noted?
2: How big is her cage, give me actual measurements?
3: How high is the cage off the ground, How far below eye level to the highest point in the cage she can get too?
4: Do you let her play on her cage?
5: Is she cage territorial, does she allow you to go in her cage and play with her toys without biting?
6: Has she molted yet?
7: Do you give her baths? If so, how?
OK, now a couple of statements...........
You should NEVER have her outside, out of her cage. Hawks will fly down and take her from you. If a hawk can see a mouse in brown grass at a 100 feet in the air, He will spot your colorfull GCC a mile away. Also it only takes two flight feathers on each side to gain lift for flight. I can only inform you, I have had so many people tell me they lost their baby from them flying out an open the door. Your inviting this without a door.
