My GCC also did this. He was super sweet for the first few weeks, then, out of nowhere turned into Kujo. We all wore protective head gear when he was out (jackets with hoods)& I really wondered what I had gotten into. But, I was very patient for a few months & continued to handle him. He is now almost 2, and rarely bites. I can usually read his behavior & know when to be aware. He loves to be out with me and is so much fun. He prefers to be with me, but will also go to my husband & 4 kids. He is quite the personality, talks up a storm, & is my little buddy. I think they all go through this difficult phase. Don't give up. There is a precious little bird in there who just needs time.
