I think all birds have something that sets them off. For one of my GCC's, that something is hats. Guapo absolutely tries to destroy anyone who is wearing a hat. He is most bonded to me, but if I have a baseball cap or visor on, he bites my finger hard when I try to pick him up (and I mean he draws blood). Any other time, he might nip if in a bad mood, but nothing close to that. I just think of it along the lines that as people, we have preferences and phobias. I think our birds do too...
