Why did you change her food. Oh thats right, cause the people who push this really expensive food, ARE the only one's who sell it. Zupreem is a good food... Why do you take her to the vet? Is she sick? Then don't, your expossing her to more illnesses. If she stays in your home and dont expose her to outdoor birds and indoor cats ( Cats have a bacteria that makes birds sick ) and keep her cage clean and freeze what food that doesn't get use within the week, then she will be fine. Has she been DNA'd? She sounds like a boy, Boy's tend to use toys to help with " Hormonal issues " If it is a boy the toy "playing" is fine. If it is a girl, you need to take anything that might start the egg laying process, away. I takes alot of vitamins and minerals out of the female when she starts laying eggs. Lastly, BATHS very important for molting birds. She should be taking baths on her own, If not put ice cubes in her water bowl and keep her away from drafts in the room. If she is a girl covering her is good, do not let her get to much light if she, Well, is a she, cause that may start the egg laying process.
