I am the new owner of a baby green cheek. I brought him (just a guess) home from the breeder at about 14 days old and he is now approximately 6 weeks. I am wondering what is the best way to introduce solid food (I have picked up a bag of pellets). I'm still keeping him in a small aquarium with a heating pad & thermometer, so also wondering when to move him into a cage. Should I start with small cage with the heating pad underneath?
Sorry for all of the questions, I've did so much research about handfeeding but haven't been able to find a lot about weaning.
