My GCC and I live in Central NY, where our weather to someone much farther south would be chilly, cold, and coldest the majority of the year. Dani lives inside and adjusts fine to whatever tempature I have set in the house. You didn't say how far south you are moving from. Your birds will adjust fine if you move during the summer. If they are used to Florida weather and you move during the winter, you would risk your birds getting sick due to the drastic change in environment. They need to gradually adjust to the new climate.
