There are many things that you should think about for this.
First the best way to look at it is are you ready to have a completly independent pet from the one you already have. You will have to do everything a second time each day. IF the birds dont get along and often they dont and being in the same cage wont be possible for the first month or so either way.
If they are successfully introduced to each other and do get along very well and are able to be trusted to be alone together then you will still have to spend time with each one alone to maintain the bond with people. If they bond to much to each other they can often become territorial and try to protect each other.
Those are just some of the problems that would need to be thought about first. obviously their or much happier things to think about but the problems are what can make the decision.
