iv just aquired a pair of GCC's. said to be a breeding pair. hen is 4yrs and cock is 2yrs. i have them in a patio aviary with the box inside on the bottom of the aviary. i have sucessfully bred quakers in this aviary with the box in the same pos. not sure about conures tho. will i need to lift the box? also any experianced info regarding diet while breeding (they get a dish of fresh fruit and veges daily and staple diet of vetafarm breeder pellets and a hand full of seed given once a week or a seed bell instead. also get calcium powder on their veges once a week and vitamin suppliment in drinking water every third or fourth day. is there anything else i should be doing? breeding season in australia? same as others?
