So, my husband and I are planning a little vacation before his deployment. We are thinking of a cabin. What do you all recommend regarding birds and fireplaces?? Completely dangerous....? I am not sure about this topic as we dont have one in our home.
If I can get any input that would be great.
I was planning on bringing my CO (carbon monoxide) detector along...if we bring him (GCC), but I am not sure that it would be the best idea to bring him. He absolutely LOVES going with us everywhere. Obviously he would be in his travel cage and not any where close to the fire. We would only have a fire as needed to heat the cabin up at night, as it is in the mountains.
Please, any input would be appreciated. I would hate to leave him ,but his safety is my main priority.
