There is a disease called Conure Bleeding syndrome and it is due to a lack of vitamin K in the diets of Conures on an all seed diet...I feed Kaytee egg-cite for parrots. Has lots of good things in it and not all of it is sunflower seeds. Conure need at least 2 fruit and 2 veggies a DAY. 3 of each is better. I feed mine some things everyday cut into small bite size cubes, this way there is less waste.
Everyday:
Apple
Pear
Some sort of melon like watermelon, cantaloupe, or honey due
Orange quarters with the skin on
broccoli
pepper and seeds red, green, orange, or yellow
zucchini squash uncooked
brown rice cooked
tomato
cooked yam or sweet potato
Then when in season some type of berry:black, raspberry, strawberry
kiwi
cilantro
romaine lettuce
cucumber
Then once a week one meat (protein source)
cooked and drain ground turkey
chicken broil, boil, or grilled
very very lean red meat
scrambled eggs
french toast (no butter or syrup)
oatmeal
mashed potatoes
The list could go on and on but do NOT feed pork, sugar, salt or oils, butter, watch the spices.
