If you're looking for a plant that birds like to chew on (besides your houseplants), wheatgrass is good (other pets love it too). I plant several little pots w/wheatgrass seeds. It grows really fast. The birds chew it to bits. They make quite a mess, but it keeps them away from my house plants. I also let them chew on & play with drift wood that I had resoaked at home to make sure it was clean. My budgie loves tearing off the bark. She makes a big mess, but then what bird doesn't? lol
