: i have two green cheecks,"sassy and Newton". i somehow inherited a green quaker named "Mr. Bigs". Well the birds are extremely jealous of one another. Mr biggs screeches and they go flying on his cage. The female wants to fight him and im worried they will hurt each other. one day the newton came over and picked a fight, he is much smaller. i need any suggestions that will help them like to be together. I want to consolidate there area. how can you make different species get a long?Any help?

Sometimes you just cant!!! I would call a Bird store and ask them. Other than keeping them in separate cages, until they seem to like one another. GC are very dominant and very demanding and I believe that quakers are the same. They may never get along and you might cause more harm than good. You dont want someone to loose a toe with flying on top on the others cage. Please be careful when introducing more than 1 bird to each other. Remember, sometimes even us humans cant just get along, birds are the same way!
