Fairthorpe EM Identity

I have in my garage an EM with the number plate 481 FHU. The car came complete with 948 engine and had used most colours under the sun at various stages in its life. It is clearly a mark 1 but that is all i know.I would like to confirm its identity any ideas anyone??
