Just to forewarn members, I am planning to sell my EB 60 and my EB Debonair I have had in storage for a number of years. (I have owned the 60 for at least 20 years, and had the Debonair for about 10). They are both in need of complete builds/rebuilds (the Debonair, Ballamy chassis no 14 has never been on the road!)and I have finally decided they are a couple of jobs I will never get around to. - Both projects are not for the faint-hearted, but a must for a keen jigsaw fan!!!!!
This sale has been prompted by my own feelings of mortality due to the severe illness of my partners mother, who is currently spending her last few days on this earth in the Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambs.
So I am selling both (as a job lot) which includes lots of bits I have either taken off the originals (glass, wheels, suspension, lights, etc, etc) or have bought as part of their intended rebuilds.
Whoever buys will need a very large trailer or truck to uplift both cars, chassis (Ballamy and Ford Sit-Up -and-beg) and all the bits.
- Cars are located near Selkirk, Scottish Borders.
All proceeds of the sale will go to Arthur Rank Hospice (make the cheque out to them directly if you wish, I am taking no 'cut' whatsoever).
I am looking for the very best offer over £250 for the whole lot, and will be listing the cars on Ebay within the next 7 days, but would like to give club members the first chance.
(If I have to list on EbayI will be putting on a 'reserve' of £250 anyway).
Consider how rarely these cars come up for sale (especially the Debonair) and the cause the money will go to, and please dig deep!
Please contact me for further details and I will take photos whenever it stops raining here in Scotland!!!!
Many thanks,
Steve
