| Your message | Message to Mick, previous caller: I think you'll find the awning size for your 1993 Amethyst is 880cm, same as the 1992 model, the main difference being a change to the external colour scheme. If you are buying new any decent awning supplier should be able to confirm this. |

| Your message | Thanks for the reply. I am not new to caravanning been doing it for last 10 years. We have always thoroughtly cleaned and disinfected our aquaroll and caravan system before each trip and used a filter, never had any problems. But was unsure about not using a filter. I think I will take a leaf out of your book and use a small water carrier for the drinking and cooking water. |

| Your message | Message to Sylvia, previous guest. Not sure from your message whether you are new to caravanning or not. As a general rule we do not drink water from an aquaroll through the caravan system as even a filter which blocks particles usually wont be effective against bacteria. Normally water from stand pipes on Club, commercial or rally sites is safe to drink or prepare food, (it should be made clear to you if it is not), but we use a seperate container for this purpose. |

| Your message | I have just paid a deposit on a 2006 Eccles Moonstone. I noticed that the Truma crystal 2 system had nowhere to install a filter. How do people cope without a filter, ie you can drink bottled water but if you are cooking do you have to get the water from a bottle or stand pipe? or is it safe to use the caravan tap water for this? |
