Mrs. Slocombe) on "Are You Being Served," died. The show was a British sitcom. I love British sitcoms.
Anyways, sometimes when they do the funerals, you will see others who were also in the show (see them attend). I like to see what they look like today...that sort of thing...though I do keep up with them, through PBS (tv station/s)...as often some of them are on when they do the fundraising for the channel/s.
I was absolutely shocked to find that Wendy Richard (who played Miss Brahms) on "Are You Being Served," and also was on "Eastenders" for years and years, died in February. I will admit that I knew she had cancer--and not all that long ago she married her longtime beau...and also wasn't appearing on Eastenders any longer because of her cancer. However, I had not realized that it had gotten bad and that she had passed away. I was just blown away when I read this article--It has a picture of Mollie Sugden attending Wendy Richard's funeral.
I was just so completely surprised/taken aback...since I had no idea that Wendy Richard had died even though I try to keep up with these actors/actresses since I really enjoy their shows.
