He's always been on the edge of jerkiness for me, but I never really hated him. But a few weeks ago when he was mad at Kate for doing whatever Sawyer had asked her to do and yelling "he CHOSE to stay behind," and THEN we see that Sawyer actually jumped to save the rest of them, that was bad. He was a major jerk then.
Of course, Kate could have actually said "Sawyer asked me to do this for him before just before he JUMPED OUT OF A HELICOPTER to save our lives" and I'm by damn doing it, I don't care what you say. But she didn't do that either, so maybe it's a draw.
