| Comments | well if pascal is in charge then he needs to sort things out. fitness last year was terrible, the boys need to have 60 mins in the tank. also frank needs to be taking every free we get inside the oppositions half. we have the best player in the county and we need to start getting the best out of him again. with weir on form we could challenge for honours again. |

| Comments | Stevieg. I can 100% confirm that neither Frank Weir or David Connolly were asked onto the Offaly panel. Frank was asked in nearly every yaer for the last 15 years and he didn't play so little point in asking him now. I wish he would play because he still has so much to offer. |

| Comments | The 3 clubs would NEVER form up again. Id say bracknagh and clonbullogue would do good together, had succesful underage teams in the 80's with the 2 clubs combined. Walsh Island think they should be senior so they would never join up with bracknagh and clonbullogue. But in my opinion all 3 are evenly matched at the moment. |

| Comments | Well said Braknagh man. people tend to overlook the health benefits of playing sports. Bracknagh needs a dose of youth coming through. Fiona, true we need Frank more than ever but we also need the young lads coming through and theres nobody better in the county they could learn from than Frank. |

| Comments | It would be a disaster for any of the young players to stop playing for Bracknagh. They are the present and the future. There are a lot of the current players getting older and for the club to survive, every possible player is needed. Players get annoyed if they are not picked for every game, but its a process everyone has to go through. If you ask any of the older players, many of them sat on the sideline for years. The benifits of being involved with the clubs are far reaching, health wise, friendships, social interaction. Its very important to keep our small rural club alive and well. slan |

| Comments | To Admin. Is there any hope that next year the website could be updated with results, match reports, photos etc. These websites tend to generate a lot of interest (see Edenderry and Rhodes websites) and could eb good for Bracknagh GAA as well. It surprising the amount of people living abroad or simply elsewhere in Ireland taht would love to be kept up to date. |

| Comments | just e mailing to wish the team all the best in the relegation match against k/k i reckon they will do us proud and hopefully we will never be in this situation again we need at all cost to stay intermediate if we are to keep this club going so lets all get out there to support them next weekend and stay in the inter ranks and we can then regroup for next year and hopefully this time next year we will be talkin of our intermediate final sucess. BREACHNACH ABU. PS hope that the 25th anniversary nite this friday is a good one for that sucesful 1983 team slan anois |

| Comments | ye i agree they were not at there best this year but these nen along with some other have given there entire life to bracknagh gaa and we cannot keep relining on them we need some sort of youth scheme because there is some serious players coming up from u14 and u16 level and there is a group of young players between 18 and 23 would i my point of view with a little help from the older memebers of the team can help in bracknaghs bid to get back to senior |

| Comments | point taken but do you not agree that that Weir and Connolly were not fully utilised this year. We will give ourselves the greatest chance of success by getting the best out of them 2 for a start. Let Weir kick every free and sideline we get within 50 yards.......gaurenteed points every time. We just need to be more clever than we currently are! On a bleak note for Offaly that Walsh Island team were brutal beyond belief yesturday (not just saying it cos they are neighbours...i actually hoped they win) but if this is what Richie Connors has to offer in terms of tactics then God help us. |

| Comments | Mind the language 'Curious'. I agree that this year was a mess. Whoever comes in needs to put Frank in full forward and let David play off him. Our defence is a whole different ball game. As a previous poster said we should be pushing for senior with players like Connolly and Weir in our ranks. |

The lads played not to bad but the people should zip it on the side lines and stop giving out to them.. Frank is a lengend if there were more like him they might get some where... There is always another go at it next year but I think they should all give up that drink. It is a very bad thing if u have a match at 12 on a sunday morning.. |

Too often we only hear negative things about Bracknagh but after all the tragedies and recent disappointments it was obvious to everyone how resiliant and strong is the real community of Bracknagh. The speeches were entertaining without being over long, well done Pat Walsh. Charlie as ever was Charlie,we'll have to organise a retreat for him so he can learn to say Grace before meals!!!!!!!!!! Again thanks to everyone who organised the whole event and hopefully I will see you all at the anniversary of our most recent win 2000 Pat Carey |

| Comments | Thanks to everyone involved in organising the dinner dance last week. It was great to see everyone again and to feel a part of such a community. I had the pleasure of talking with the people from my parents generation as well as my own teammates and friends. In addition to this I also spoke with some of the footballers of the current team who I only knew as small children. It was very apparent to me that the success achieved 25 years ago was born out of that community spirit which was instilled in us all at a young age and still exists in the current players i spoke to. My sons, who have grown up here in Holland, were moved by the display of that spirit during our visit. For myself it was an honour to show my sons and their friend why I am so proud to be Irish and to have played football with a club such as ours. Thanks again Jimmy Storan |
