:seemed to either forget the title or couldn't find it when I was looking. I read Lily and the Major, and Emma and the Outlaw. I loved those. I enjoy books written in that era, and I especially like her books written in modern times. I think she is an excellent writer.
Have you tried her Mojo Sheepshanks books? They are kind of like the Plum series by Janet Evanovich, except Mojo is actually a work at home Medical Biller/Coder in her "real" job, but an inspiring private eye on the side. I've only read two of those books, but they kept me turning pages.
