told me Sunday that he had yellow stuff coming out of the pocket on his gum line. I told him that if he was willing to try our dentist, I would get him in ASAP. He said that was fine with him. Got him in yesterday afternoon. He had a pus pocket between the permanant tooth coming in and the baby tooth that needed to come out and the pressure was pushing this out. Dentist said it would probably be best to pull it as the baby tooth had quite a large cavity in it anyway. So, he pulled it. SS actually thanked me for taking him to the dentist just like SD did. What kids thank you for taking them to the dentist??!! They were both just so relieved to not be in pain.
Also, they just got the x-rays for other SS in over the weekend. Have him set up for Jan--earliest they could do. He needs 4 caps and a pulpectomy and he is only 4 years old!
I just decided I am not pussyfooting around this chick anymore. If she can't step up to the plate and take care of these kids, I will. I just called her and told her SS wanted to go to our dentist and that I was taking him in. She said oh they will just probably give him an antibiotic. When I called her back and told her that they pulled his tooth, I could almost hear her eyes pop out of her head!
She is just digging herself into a hole. Visitation for us is supposed to be every Tues and every other weekend. My SS was here every night last week, spending the night 3 nights and then was here again last night. I told my husband it is going to be hard to stand back and keep our mouths shut about the crap she pulls, but that these kids will all eventually realize what kind of mom she is (NOT) and will end up over here. It seems to be happening already.
