DeWitt, Michigan (Tuesday, August 25, 2009): The 2009 racing season has proven that no matter what type of car 17-year-old Chad Finley climbs behind the wheel of, the DeWitt, Michigan teenager is a contender for the feature win! Case in Point; The 3rd annual Mid-Michigan Dixie Challenge 100 at Dixie Motor Speedway.

The Birch Run, Michigan speed plant hosted the ASA Late Model Series Northern Division on August 21st as Finley piloted the #116 Pass Time USA.com Larry Varney owned Chevrolet Impala around the fast 4/10s (0.400) mile progressively banked d-shaped paved oval.

After Qualifying eighth and just missing the inversion, which was a seven, Finley would start on the outside of the fourth row next to new track record holder, defending ASALMS North Champion, and current points leader, Eddie Hoffman.

Finley stayed in the top eight all race long as no one passed the Great Lakes State teenager while he carefully worked his way through the field. With 10 laps to go, Finley found himself in third and after getting by 2008 USPRO Cup Series Champion, Dave Gentile Jr., he tried in vain to reel in eventual winner, Chris Eggleston, but simply ran out of time and came home in the runner-up spot.

"I tell you what, the PassTimeUSA.com, Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Parts Stores and Certified Service Centers Chevy was really good all night! I was just pacing myself there the first 70 laps or so keeping everybody in sight," Finley explained.

"Eddie (Hoffman) and Ross (16-year-old Ross Kenseth) were racing pretty hard and I thought something may happen between the two," He added. "We were really good on long runs but the caution kept waiving so we could never get going as good as we wanted to."

"I really have to thanks all the guys from my Outlaw team for working so hard and especially Larry Varney for the opportunity. I had a lot of fun out there and really got something to look forward to at Owosso Speedway." He ended.

Finley will be back behind the wheel of Varney's Chevrolet Impala at the ASALMS Northern Division's next event on Saturday, September 5th at the multi-groove 3/8s (0.375) mile high-banked paved oval of the Owosso Speedway, located between Owosso and St. Johns on M-21 in Ovid, Michigan for the Labor Day 100.

Chad's Father, Jeff Finley was very proud of his son to say the least; "A big thanks to Larry (Varney) for all he has done as well as everyone at Howe Racing Enterprises. We have not raced ASA Late Models in a year, so I'm pretty happy."

"We've also got to thank Wayne Setterington and Brad Keselowski as well as all the guys from Brad Keselowski Racing. There shock package is wonderful and we can't thank them enough," The elder Finley continued.

"I think we waited too long there at the end. Man that car was flying as we ran down the race winner. Just needed more laps, but that's how it goes. We're really looking forward to Owosso though, Chad has a lot of seat time there and we expect to do really well!" He ended.

As was the case at Dixie, Finley will bring his primary sponsor, Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Parts Stores and Certified Service Centers as well as associate sponsor, PasstimeUSA.com with him and those colors will be prominent on the #16 machine for both shows

The DeWitt, Michigan rising star has made three starts for Brad Keselowski Racing (B.K.R.) in the ARCA RE/MAX Series and in the last race for B.K.R. in ARCA competition at the famed Berlin Raceway, located West of Grand Rapids in Marne, Michigan for the Wolverine Power Systems 200 Presented by Generac on July 25th, Finley proved he belonged with an impressive third place finish.

His podium finish came on the heels of a sixth place showing in his ARCA debut at Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio back on May 17th and a ninth place showing at the Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa on July 11th. All three starts were behind the wheel of the B.K.R. #29 Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Parts Stores and Certified Service Centers Chevrolet.

Finley is scheduled for one more start in the ARCA RE/MAX Series with B.K.R. Racing to retain his rookie eligibility for the 2010 season. The team will compete in the ARCA Season Finale at Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, North Carolina.

Throughout the 2009 racing season, all of Finley's cars will sport prominent decals from Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Parts Stores and Certified Service Centers as well as AutoParts2020.com on his #29 Chevrolet in the ARCA RE/MAX Series as well as his #42 Outlaw Bodied Super Late Model.
