Racing Electronics and Race Safe Systems are Back for the 2009 Season
with
ASA Late Model Series.

Lexington, Michigan (01/21/2009): The ASA Late Model Series Presented
by
GM Performance Parts is very happy to announce the return of two very
prominent companies in the world of Motorsports back to the ASALMS for
the
2009 season; Racing Electronics (R/E) and Race Safe Systems (RSS).

Racing Electronics based in Concord, North Carolina is back for 2009 as
the “Official Radio Communications Provider of the ASALMS” for all
divisions within the ASALMS.

Race Safe Systems, a partner company of R/E has also returned for the
upcoming campaign as all the cars and stars within the three divisions
of
the ASALMS will utilize the RSS System once again for the upcoming 2009
season!

The ASALMS and Racing Electronics will team up for the fifth year in a
row
and as part of the R/E program, ASALMS teams and fans alike will have
the
opportunity to visit the R/E trailer at most of the ASALMS events
during
the upcoming season for all of their communications needs.

“We are very pleased to have Racing Electronics and Race Safe Systems
back
once again with the ASALMS for 2009!” Stated ASALMS
Founder/President, Ron
Varney. “R/E is a recognized leader in the industry and have been a
fixture at our races and will be for many years to come. Plus the RSS
System has definitely paid for itself in such a short time!” Varney
added.
Racing Electronics manufactures and supplies a complete line of Race
Communication products and accessories. R/E has served the professional
driver and pit crews as well as the racing fan for almost 20 years!

The Race Safe System is a dash mounted light that will alert the driver
instantaneously when the yellow flag is displayed. The signal is
controlled by the ASALMS Race Director up in the scoring tower, so as
soon
as the decision to put out the yellow flag is given, each and every
driver
will immediately know and be able to slow down and avoid incidents on
the
race track.

Racing Electronics offers customers a free full size and full color
24-page catalog either by mail or by download on the R/E website, of
two-way radios, scanners, headphones and headsets, plus a complete
selection of accessories, and an online Frequency Membership listing
current races and the scanner frequencies for these races.

In addition to their headquarters in Concord, North Carolina; You can
find
their trailers at all NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series, and
Craftsman
Truck races, as well as some NHRA, ARCA, and IRL races, and of course,
ASALMS events.

“The ASALMS has always been and will always be at the forefront of
safety
and innovation.” Continued Varney as he talked about the RSS System.
“Safety is extremely important to me, always has been! It’s my job
to make
sure that my drivers are as safe as they can be at all times.” He
ended.

With the Race Safe Systems warning light system, the ASALMS has been
able
to offer drivers another tool to improve their awareness. Through
extensive research and development, RSS has produced a smaller, more
reliable and more affordable system for teams across the country.
Experienced professional drivers know that a great number of accidents
occur under the yellow. The reason is that sun, dust, tear-offs,
grandstand distractions and other obstructions restrict the drivers
from
seeing the yellow caution flag at the same time.

It’s a fact, a car stalled on a turn can turn into a multi-car
pile-up,
just because someone did not see the yellow caution flag or track
light.
Now, it’s possible to put the green and yellow lights in your dash
where
all drivers constantly monitor engine functions.

The Race Safe System (RSS) is a radio transmitter receiver that alerts
the
drivers of a caution simultaneously. Track owners should insist on all
drivers installing this system and drivers, you should inform your
weekly
local track of this system too.

It could save you hundreds of dollars and more! This system has been
track
tested and competition proven by many top New York drivers and has
received endorsements from national drivers and promoters.
