So far I have found that the 1972 Indian Wildlife Protection Act and it's additions only list certain native India turtles. You can look yourself under Schedules I - VI listed in the end of the Act Document at http://www.envfor.nic.in/legis/wildlife/wildlife1.html. Anyone found any other info?
