ok, this is gonna be long...
I live in South Eastern Arizona, the other night we found a turtle. I want keep it but I don't know anything about pet turtles. It's a little bigger than my fist and I found out on the internet that it's a boy.
But that's all I know. Some are saying it's a box turtle. And that he eats peas, strawberrys, and lettuce. I baught him turtle food and he's not eating it. I found out he likes shredded carrots. But he refuses to eat anything else. And he sleeps...a lot.
He hasn't been eating much and I hope he's not losing energy or getting depressed.
I baught a blow-up baby pool the other day, filled it with a little bit of water, rocks, and some grass. He likes it...I guess. He gets a lot of sun on the porch. But here monsoon season came a little late and it's storming and raining like crazy. I've been keeping him inside in a big tupperwear with warm water and a heater on my computer desk. He likes that! And I wake up to him walking all over my keyboard.
I would like some advice, if I'm doing something wrong. I keep trying to look online for info, but all I get a petshop stuff. He's stopped eating and I'm scared I'll have to let him go. Please help!!
