by "go with your guy" I really meant "go with your gut"
: I double checked the math for you. There were only two errors (according to Wikipedia)
: 1. Muhammed Ali - January 17, 1942 = 25/7 Despite the actual number book listing Ali as 26/8, he seems to be 25/7 according to the internet. Apparently Dan Millman either A) needs to double check his math or B) "stretches the truth". Ali was outspoken about freedom, highly disciplined and outright refused to cooperate with the government.
: 2. Rocky Marciano - 9/1/1923 = 25/7
: A hilarious 26/8 that I found is Dennis Rodman. In many ways he epitomizes the negative side of the number - no process to cultivate his raw athletic ability, would do anything to get attention often to the detriment of his team, no regard for his physical safety, and constantly engaging in battles (physical, emotional, legal and probably spiritual). The type of guy nobody should emulate.
: Here are some "freebies" to get some other people going...
: 27/9 - Brett Favre
: 29/11 - Michael Jordan, Joe Montana
: 38/11 - Tom Brady, Kevin Garnett
: 33//6 Haile Gebresalassie
: the best way to go about this is like Matt said "go with your guy" and you'll be suprised how quickly you can find 10.
: thats all I got for now
: : This is my ten--->
: : (I am sure my math will have to be checked)
: : Muhammad Ali - Talked a lot of trash and was all about dismantling the establishment and being the greatest.
: : Jesse Owens - Was all about showing up Hitler at the Olympics by kicking the shit out of all his German sprinters
: : Nolan Ryan - He used to throw baseballs well over 100 miles an hour and laugh about it. He kept on throwing heat well into his forties
: : Joe Namath - Told the everyone he was going to win the superbowl. Everyone laughed at him and he went it did it anyway.
: : Glen "big baby" Davis - Comes off the bench for the Boston Celtics. When he gets on the floor he plays with more intensity than any body else out there.
: : Gene Kelley - The most well known and amazing dancer to ever grace the silver screen. He also directed, sang, choreographed and wrote music.
: : Rocky Marciano - A boxer who used to just smash people in the face. He got smashed in the face alot too but did not really care.
: : Wayne Gretzky
