I moved into a small apartment during college that was right by the tracks and I mean right by (50 feet) and at a road intersection where they have to blow the horns.
It took about 1 month to get used to it. After that, it was oddly comforting and I liked the little wiggle it gave the old apartment as it whooshed by.
