a very small company at the time. My boss did her best to get copies of his reports and all that, and still no transcriptionists could do him. They finally got an NP to dictate for him. Now? I don't think I would refuse. There comes a point, however, especially when it's not an ESL, it's just a sloppy American dictator who doesn't care about the quality of the work he gets back, that I just refuse to waste my time. Not paid enough. I sent them back with blanks to QA - sometimes I go back and check just out of nosiness, to see if they have filled in the blanks, and many times they have not.
