: Everytime I actually decide to go on a weight reduction plan, I do really well until life happens. As long as all I have to concentrate on is what I eat, how often, what types of food, and have time to plan menus, I can be successful. However, life always seems to intervene in some way, whether it be with family, work, or the fact that after a while I just settle back into old habits because I hate math and I get tired of counting the numbers (calories, points, pounds lost, whatever) and just get plain bored with it all.

I can walk by a table of food and gain weight just by salivating over it. I don't have to touch it to do that. I have eaten enough salads in my life that just walking by a salad bar makes me actually nauseous.

But every time I go on a diet because I choose to, I make sure I have a good breakfast (I love breakfast food), have two healthy snacks (apple sauce, a banana, cottage cheese w/fruit, almonds, jello, or jello pudding,etc.). I like baby carrots, and although I don't care for celery I make myself eat it. But my best advice is just do not buy junk food snacks. My weakness currently are Cheetos or Fritos.

Drink lots of water. I'm not crazy about just plain water, so I often (not always) use the Crystal Light individual packets in mine. I could never tell that Green Tea did anything for me, but I do take vitamins.
