I still find it unbelievable that people concern themselves with things written thousands of years ago, with a god that was prenatal at best, and at worst was nothng more than a brute who gave permission to kill others that "he" deemed unworthy, and that the Israelites were the "chosen" people. Thank "god" I'm an unbeliever and will continue to be at odds with this kind of mentality that promulgates a kind of morality that isn't defensible or even explainable except to say "god said so!" What kind of logic is that. Fear of this god will keep you going and fear of being human in a rather cruel, uncaring world of natural selection.
