I switched bank accounts a couple of months ago and kept the old one with a couple of hundred $$ just to cover any outstanding checks. Just happened to check it to make sure everything was cleared and my MORTGAGE was bounced out of there!!!
I called the mortgage company and they took a phone payment w/o any fees, sounded almost like I wasn't the first one this has happened to.
