| Comments | Dear Laura - What a kick it was to read your guest book; to gaze at your lovely photos; and to reminisce about you and your talent. I never once doubted you would "make it" but for some reason, after MB I heard you had married, and I didn't know if you would continue to act and sing, although I prayed you would. I am now 72 (Yikes!) but still doing (as in directing) shows. Have a small group of vocalists who have done "My Way" and "My Way Christmas" both of which contain fantastic chords both for the singers and for the piano. I really had to practice and felt challenged for the first time in years. I suffered a physical set-back but am healing nicely. Bub and I go to FL for the winter - he is there now with our shih-tzu, and I will follow on Dec. 4th. How I wish I could see you on Broadway - at one point in time you, Tim Quinlan ("Footloose") an Amy Millete (touring Broadway show) were all there at the same time, While I realize it was no thanks to me . . .I felt so proud and happy for you. (Amy is married and has a baby about seven months I would guess), Sone thngs never change - I still talk a lot!! Oh yeah, I am also doing some "personalized" shows which I write from info gathered from family members, colleagues etc. and plug in appropriate song snippets. It could keep me really busy - but I have to measure what energies I have - the singers are great, and thankfully, one is married to a sound engineer. Enough of me. CONGRATULATIONS on your tremendous successes. I am so happy for you and proud of you. I have ever forgotten you or your incredible talents. If you have any head shots lying around, please send one. A couple weeks ago, myself, Jay Brida and Matt Gowdy decided that we would plan our 20th Reunion. So, that's what we did. Some of you I have been in direct contact with, some of you I have been in indirect contact with, and some of you I have no fucking clue how or why I have your email addresses. Regardless, I am sending out the official reunion details with the above website(You may have already received this in some capacity and if that is the case I apologize for the redundancy.) Through this site you may receive additional information, post your own comments, pay for your tickets through Paypal(which we are encouraging people to do early), or perhaps get the email address of that guy or gal who never liked you the way that you liked them and you can e-stalk them until you are reunited in November and all your dreams will come true-for real this time. When I got the initial emails from Matt & Jay, my immediate thought was: "Let's just get a few kegs and head down to either The Moose Lodge, Sandy Beach(think Dwight's Party), Fitzgerald Lake, The Pit, The Meadows, etc. We'll have a bonfire and party hard till the cops show up then run for it." Seeing how that suggestion seemed to fall on deaf ears we have planned an indoor reunion(how original). So, here is my quick synopsis of what you need to know; Date: Saturday November 29th(Thanksgiving Weekend) Time: 7:30PM-1:00AM Location: Union Station, Northampton(Formerly The Depot) Tickets: $30 per person(in advance) Attire: Casual/Wear whatever the fuck you want Misc: Spouses/Partners welcome, Cash Bar, Bring Your Own Drugs, Appetizers, Special Guest Star Nate Korza(no autographs please) Please forward this message or the basic details & website to any 1988 people you may be in touch with.
