I'm hanging in there, 9 more weeks to go. Contractions are pretty strong now though, but no more than 3 per hour and usually stop after about 2-3 hours. Doc said not to worry unless I started getting 4 or 5 an hour that didn't go away.
I failed my 1 hour glucose test and had to go back for the 3 hour one. I tried to tell them to just skip the 1 hour test as I knew with my insulin resistance I'd fail it, always do. However, because of insurance reasons, they HAD to do it first..grrr! I get the results on the 3 hour one tomorrow/today (Tuesday). My fasting glucose was impaired though and I didn't crash like I normally do so I'm a bit concerned this time. I've never had an impaired fasting glucose before.
I haven't gained any weight yet. I lost 12 pounds in the first trimester and have held steady ever since. They finally quit asking me if I was eating enough lol. I did this with Taloun though too (except with him, I lost 20 pounds). I didn't gain any weight till right at the end, and then only 10 pounds, most of which I think was water weight gain as I was so swollen the last 3-4 weeks. From the time I checked in for induction at 6 days past due till the time I checked out 2 days later, I lost 12 pounds.
