1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
4 C chopped cabbage
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 C uncooked minute rice
1 C water
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 12.5 oz can diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 C ketchup
2 T vineger
1-2 T Sugar (optional)
1 T Worchestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic power
Brown ground beef and onion until meat is no longer pink. Drain. Transfer to slow cooker. Add cabbage and green pepper.
In a bowl combine tomato paste and water. Stir in remaining ingredients (except rice). Pour over beef mixture. Mix well.
Stir in rice about 1 hr. before serving.
4-6 hr. on low or until rice and vegies are tender.
This was a little drier than I would like. Next time I will add more liquid.
