The CM90 was the pushrod engined C90 predecessor (that I'm sure you know!) Made from late 1964, and imported to the UK from '65(C) to '67(E). (they always seem to be grey over here.. so I bet yours is or was!)

I'm pretty sure the front shocks are exactly the same fitting as the contemporary 50cc C100 model, which were quite common over here.
In 1967 for the C50/C90 the top mounting changed to a vertical/axial fitting, so they definitely won't fit, but for the 12volt models from 1983 they went back to the eye bolt type, so although the dimensions may be slightly out, I'm sure some 'modern' Cub90 ones could be made to fit if you can't find any C100/CM90 ones.
