But really, Estelle, isn't that what so many people "accuse"

:don't so many people accuse it of being "primitive?" Saying science is the way to go and that Christianity is primitive, a way to explain the unexplainable? I just don't understand what this guy has against this movie.

It is a beautiful movie from every aspect. It isn't like Harry Potter where there is magic or anything. It has beautiful animation that is taken from real scenic places (in Japan, I think it is - I saw a thing on it) and is just wonderful.

I didn't think I would like it at all - I am NOT into the SiFi fiction stuff, but it wasn't like that at all either, really. It had such a message for today's destruction of our natural resources, which again are God-given and as you say, things turning into a "Twighlight Zone," but there are so many levels to it - there is a love story in it, and none of it is so blatant that a child could not enjoy it (and I do not mean be brain washed). Just a wonderful movie on many levels that appeals to a wide audience on the basis of animation, beauty, and context.

I'm not sure what your reservations are. I know I had mine, but once I got over mine and saw it, I was so plesantly surprised and I just loved it. It was beautiful.
