: : Here, churches will help people with rent and utilities even if you aren't a member.
: : They have limited funds so it is first come first serve, but there are so many churches that do this around here, they pretty much cover the needs. AND, if they are out of funds, they call another church for you to see if they can help.
: : We also have a family assistance group here that does nothing but help people with bills.
: : Then there's social services. They might not be able to help you with the rent, but they should be able to give you info of where to go locally that could help.
