: 2 cups white sugar
: 1 cup brown sugar
: 1 cup water
: 1/4 c. white corn syrup
: Sprinkle of salt
: 1 t. vanilla extract
: Combine all ingredients together in a large pot (or it will boil over) except the vanilla.
: Bring to a boil, remove the pot from the heat, let cool for 20 minutes. Add vanilla, give it a stir, and when completely cool, put it in a jar or other container.
: Good for pancakes, french toast, waffles, or a glaze for roasted chicken.
