This is not something I'm actually planning to do right now, but I'm considering if it's the way to go. Every year, we seem to have more trouble with my oldest in school. She's in 9th grade this year, and her grades are just not where they should be. The biggest part is she's way too social. We've had some major issues with her lately, and I'm just kind of brainstorming things to do. I thought of homeschooling as a way to get her the education she needs without all her peers around to distract her. I just don't know if I could do it though.
So, for those of you who do home school, how did you get into it? I mean, can anyone do it or do you need some type of classes? I just have no clue. Also, how would I know if I would even be knowledgable enough to teach her? Some of the things she brings home, I don't remember how to do at all. You know the phrase, if you don't use it, you lose it. Any input is appreciated.
